I am trying to find somewhere to buy some egg layers that are at least 17 wks old. Hoping to find Barred Rock but other good egg layers are welcome. I am in south central colorado but may be able to travel. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated!!!
Are you still looking for some laying hens? I am "adopting" 4 buff orpingtons that are 1 year old or so from a woman who is moving to the "city" and will no longer be able to keep them. I will be going to pick them up tomorrow evening in Longmont. I already have 12 pullets and 1 rooster (will be sold soon) and have some eggs in the bator! I am crazy, I'll admit it. I am a chicken addict! I would like to have two of them, but would be willing to part with two of them if you would like them. Please email me if interested. Marva
