I just got 4 chickens they are 18 month old and they stoped laying how can i get them to start laying again

I just got 4 chickens they are 18 month old and they stoped laying how can i get them to start laying again

When did they stop laying? After you got them? Have you gotten any eggs from them? Could they be laying outside their coop or nest boxes and you just aren't finding the eggs? Are they molting? 18 months and this time of year is the perfect time for chickens to go into a molt. If that is the case they won't lay until their feathers grow back. And they might not start again until the days start getting longer.
I think we all go through this and we wait...and wait....and wait.
If they are molting you can try adding something with higher protein to their feed to hopefully get them back on track faster. You can go to a higher protein food (I switch to 20% grower.) or give cat or dog kibble or mealworms as treats.
