When my girls began their molt last September they stopped laying eggs and didn't start again till April! They are molting again and I'd like to know how to help my chickens resume egg laying sooner rather than later.

What are you feeding?
During a molt it's "draining" therefore have read that more protien helps them along with new feather growth. Never used it but there's a Feather Fixer feed that I've read some feed.

increase in protein really helps, I would feed flock raiser during molt for added protein as they need that more than calcium as they aren't laying, the other option is feed the flock raiser year round and offer oyster shell free choice for them and you don't have to worry about changing feeds to meet the flocks needs

2x slordaz on Flock Raiser, I feed that once the bag on Chick Starter is done, Oyster Shells on the side when they start laying, all's good :fl I do ferment, as much as it aids digestion & absorption of nutrient, no feed waste, I :love that there's less poop & it's firm with no stink :love
