Egg Laying and number of Eggs

Hi, Have just got 3 beautiful white Muscovy female ducks aged about 7 months old, when would they start to lay as it is winter
here in Southern Tasmania.

I would think they'd begin in spring time. From what I hear, Muscovies are generally seasonal layers.
