Egg laying duration

My friend had red sex links which were great layers for about 2 years. Should I expect the same out of my Easter eggers?

Most hens lay the best during the first and second season before beginning to slow down. You can't compare a sex link to an EE for total production, but most hens follow the same laying curve.
