I have two batches of chickens... I have ten that are about 14-18 weeks old and another batch of chicks that are 4-5 weeks old. I went to the feed store and they didn't have starter, but had a 50 lb bag of egg laying food. I asked the guy if it would be ok to feed to the younger ones and he said it would be fine... Well I noticed yesterday one of the chicks is walking really funny and spends most of the time sitting on the floor. Is it because I switched the food? What should I do for the chick? Would the rest of them be in danger from the same thing? If I switch back to starter, will it help?
