Egg laying from perch-what do I do

My americauna when it lays seems to late in the evening from perch which means the 5 times it has, the eggs are all broken. Not one we can use from it . What do I do?

You can try putting golf balls in her nest boxes. Sometimes they don't know where a safe place to lay is, so they don't lay until they have to, and the golf balls will show them the nest boxes are safe. Also if you have a light in the coop it would be best to turn it off because they will still think it is daytime and that makes them want to lay. Best of luck!

I have two ceramic eggs in. Darn one I'm eager to have lay is being difficult lol
