How many eggs should i expect per week from my pekin bantams? I was getting 5 eggs every 7 days from each of them. However i only had 9 eggs over ten days. And by previous weeks standards i should have expected around 18. I'm thinking someone is pinching them. To be honest i can't blame them. They are amazing

Does the number of eggs a hen lays each week vary considerably or does it stay pretty constant until the moult?
