I can't tell who is laying these eggs. I'm assuming they are all coming from the same hen since I find them in the same nest box at the same time of day. We have two RIRs, a black sex link, a cuckoo maran, golden sex link, an Ameracauna and some kind of bantam. The eggs went from small, to a little bigger and then tiny. Is this normal? All of our hens are 5 - 5 1/2 months old

Newly laying hens take a while to figure out their laying systems, it could possibly all be from the same hen if they were on different days

You're only going to get one egg from a hen a day, so you've got at least three laying if those are all from the same day.

Girls often use the same nest box, so finding them all in one isn't uncommon, and I've found that my girls seem to lay in either the late morning or mid-afternoon.

There will be some fluctuation in the size of the eggs as they work out the process for themselves, nothing to worry about.
