Egg laying

We have black stars, Jersey Giants and some bantams. (Sebrights and cochin). All are 14 weeks of age. Today we got our first egg!! It is fairly small so we are assuming the bantams. Isn't this early for them to be laying?

It is early but not unheard of. It's probably your Black Star that layed the egg though. Most first eggs are small.
