Egg looks cracked but isn’t

so my hen FRESHLY laid an egg right in front of me. When she left, I picked up the egg. The egg LOOKS cracked but isn’t.... is this ok?

I'm sure it is safe to eat. It looks like an extreme example of a body checked egg.
That's when a stress or sudden shock causes the shell to fracture in the uterus while it is being formed.

I did not know that. One of my egg bound hens laid one like that when it finally came out. This explains why it looked cracked.
