I found my girl Luna yesterday with egg membrane hanging from her vent. Without thinking I tried to pull it out and it snapped.

She hasn’t passed the remaining membrane, I gave her half a tums last night and half a tums this morning.

Yesterday she was acting completely normal. Today she is quite sluggish and lethargic. She has been in the nest box for 4 or so hours.

I was recommended to get Baytril for infection, but the shipping time is 7-10 days.

How is she doing?

I would give her a whole TUMS.

When you saw the membrane, was there also leaking albumin (egg whites) or egg yolk?

Work on keeping her hydrated, get the calcium into her. An antibiotic may be helpful if the egg contents leaked into the oviduct.
Hopefully she will be able to expel the rest of the membrane soon.

She still has not expelled it. She’s gotten up to drink a few times, but otherwise has remained in the nest box.

I did not see any egg content leaking, just the membrane.

She’s still chilling in the nest, acting sluggish. It’s been almost 24 hours since I found the membrane.

Is she in danger?

She's adorable. Hope everything goes well... could she be broody too?
