Is there such a thing? My little sister wants so badly to do something like this for the science fair at her school.

If there is ,she can probably find out from one of the companies at the mega website www.allaboutfeed.com in the poultry section.
there's a company there that sells an alge be derivative product to add to chicken feed to increase the Omega-3s in the egg. if they sell this product, is possible they also know how to measure the nutritional value of an egg to see if their product is working, which it is.
I would try there first. there's also a mega website http://www.poultryworld.net
many companies advertise on there including more companies that sell additives to food to increase the nutritional value of the egg. I would start hunting there and start calling companies. that would be my suggestion. I have found these companies to be very helpful in my research.
