Egg-O-meter, accurate????? or do I just use air temp

My air temp using a hygrometer, and also a mercury fish tank thermometer say 99-100 , my egg o meter 98.4, what should I do???

Have you ever used either in a previous hatching? If so, which was accurate? If not, I'd leave it alone. Those are decent numbers either way. Potentially, they will hatch a day late. I doubt it though

Just had my first hatch just one little Silkie, had 2 others that didn't make it!!Just thougth maybe I should have more accurate temps but am not sure the egg meter is the way to go!
