egg-o-meter anyone using one

day 19 on my third hatch using a egg-o-mter from incubator wharehouse. last two were all silkies. they pipped on day 18. today i have one egg pipped and another just hatched day 19. barred rocks. 99.5 since day one. i feel like the inside temp of the egg is cooler than the air temp of the bator. and thats the reason the silkies and these are hatching early. am i right or wrong. my cheapo walmart thermometer/humidity read 102.0 through out the hatch. but i dont trust it to be accurate. i just use it for the humidity reading. anyone using the egg-o-meter and having the same problem. guess i will have to buy the spot check from brinsea. thanks for all replies.

I bought an egg o meter it was really inaccurate. useless.

you dont want one. it has a digtal display that hangs on the wall cord comes out and on the end the probe looks like a egg and measures the inside temp of the egg. well my opinion, there junk, just like all the rest of the digital thermos on the market
