Egg of Frankenstein

The pictures don't show it, but the crack is purple. Has anyone gotten an egg like this? Also, it is huge.

Yep, gotten lots of weird ones from my last hatchery-EE. Several looked like that. Some even had long streaks and caverns on them - Poor girl, it's from the egg breaking or tearing then fusing again inside her.

An olive egger franken-egg:

It was the first egg my OE hen ever layed. And no, I didn't try and glue two eggs together! LOL It has a definite seam to it......
