egg pecker

if you can figure out who the culprit egg eater is, you could put a pair of pinless peepers on her and that would be the end of that.
also do you have fake eggs or golf balls in the nest boxes? it can discourage the picker as lots of effort and no tasty treet in the end.
giving your chickens more room or things to do will help as this habit sometimes is caused by boredom.

poke 2 small holes in an egg and blow out the insides fill with mustard and put it in the nesting box it works everytime they hate mustard
 
One of more of our 5 backyard chickens is pecking at her egg resulting in a hole or actually a broken egg. What to do?
A few questions before making any suggestions.
How old are your birds...and how long have they been laying?
Are the egg shells rather thin and weak?
Are you sure they are pecking the holes or are egg breaking when they hit the bottom of nest?
