Um. Did my last candle as eggs are set to hatch next weekend. One has pipped already and is chirping. Is it okay to unplug the turner for the whole last week? Yikes.

Today is day 14 then? Were they all set at the same time? What breed? Shipped? Could they have developed before you started incubating? How do the other eggs compare, do they look far along too? Definitely unplug the turner, yes. If this one is hatching more likely will too.

OMG I AM AN IDIOT.
I accidentally put a chicken egg in with my guinea eggs. Now it is hatching. Can I turn the rest after it hatches and dries? Or did I just ruin the whole hatch?
HAHAHAHAHAHA OMG

It won't hurt it to stay in the turner. Take it out when it hatches. I have marked the wrong week before on my calendar and the chicks started hatching in the incubator. I have a cabinet and found several chicks in the bottom of the cabinet. Some were still in the trays. I thought I had another week before they would hatch. Good luck...

Ohhh LOL!!! It will be fine. I would turn off the turner until it hatches. How many eggs are in there? It won't hurt the guinea eggs to not be turned for a day, especially if they're already several weeks along.

Do you have another place you can put the egg where it will be warm and continue hatching. A cooler with a light bulb would work. If it hasn't already it should hatch shortly. A Heating pad? Good luck...

Leaving it in the incubator would probably be best. @MissTracy up the humidity to 65% or so until it hatches. Then put it in the brooder to dry off and lower the humidity.

If it has pipped it will hatch soon. I hatch out hundreds of chicks every year. I just had a hatch too. Good luck...

Thanks everybody. I feel so dumb 🙄
I will try and keep it in as long as I can and then move it to the brooder. I thought it sounded funny 🤣 too bad none of my girls are broody anymore. So funny.
