For those of you who sell your eggs, are you charging different prices for brown eggs vs white eggs?
This is my first year with leghorns, and someone asked me about what I would charge
For the white ones. I never considered a difference in price. The cost to feed him is the same regardless of the color egg they lay...but I guess white eggs are easier to get a store therefore I should lower my price?
Pls advise...

I wouldn't. They eat the same and are taken care of in the same way as your other chickens, yes? Shell color has no impact on the nutrition of the egg- it's simply a different colored package. I'd say if they want to go get bland, pale-yolk white eggs from a store, let 'em. Sounds like somebody wanting "something for nothing," know what I mean?

I sell white and brown eggs and charge the same price for them. They taste better than store bought eggs to me

Ok good...I was thinking the same...just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something!
:o)

Now if I had some EEs, it might cost extra to buy the green/ blue eggs

White, brown, blue, green, chocolate, olive green, purple, pink - Whatever the egg color, it shouldn't be any different in price except if the hens eat or live differently from some other source. (for example, free range vs in a run; storebought commercial henfeed vs produce from your own garden)
