There are a lot of pictures of her I have shared on this thread but this is my favorite.

Anixe showing off that lovely feathering.

These 2 seem to be getting along together ok.
Anixe has been trying to titbit the girls. They pretend he's not even there.
Very funny to watch hens training up a young cockerel. They won't tolerate any bad manners from him @ all & despite his best efforts he hasn't convinced anyone to mate with him yet. However he can break up hen squabbles. They do recognise that authority.
Henry seems to be letting him practise the rooster role but not to usurp his authority. I think he's going to make someone a lovely boy in time.​

There are easier ways of doing this but this is how Kirby rolls.
The blanket is for a young friend whose favourite colours just now happen to be pink & purple. I don't think much of her colour choices but hey, I don't have to sleep with it!

Sounds like he is being raised very well. That is very encouraging.

Enzo has had a day

Starting with a nap on daddy's chair.

He told Dad that he wanted to play

He ran and jumped full tilt for over an hour attacking his fish bone toy on a stick.

Then he was exhausted, so he napped again.

It's been a perfect day

The chicks are 6 weeks old & now out and about with the rest of the tribe.
They still sleep in the cage ~ they head there for their evening meal. They are big enough the senior hens make them wait.

Don't know if you can tell from the images but the frizzles have considerably more comb & the beginning of wattles than the little speckled one. They are also friendlier & feistier. I have a home for @ least one of the frizzles if they are indeed male.​
