Egg problem? (pic)

Hi,

What's wrong with this picture?

About 2 months ago she had a red and oozy bottom and I thought that it was egg peritonitis. We even took radiographs at my work but did not see any stuck egg inside her. I am pretty sure that she has not laid any eggs since. I soaked her bottom in a warm water few times and soon she was back to normal.

Is she going to be OK with this problem? She is 2.5 years old Delaware.

did she just do this strange looking egg thing? the bottom looks like you have a feather picker, get some blue-kote and spray her bum and hopefully that will be stopped, as for the strange egg, they can lay these every once in awhile, I've seen them in my own hens, but if this is on going then it could mean a problem. if she seems healthy other wise then I'd just chalk it up to a fluke and hope it works its self out. As far as not laying an egg IDK but like I said if she is acting normal, eating ,drinking and forgaging [acting like a normal chicken ] then I'd say she's okay.
