Egg problem

My 2 year old hen stopped laying eggs in nests and just lays eggs in dropping pit!How can I change this new behavior?

Do you have enough nests for the amount of hens? Do you have fake eggs in the nest boxes? Are the boxes comfortable and the right size and shape? Is this hen dropping them at night or making a nest and laying?

I have 3 nests & 3 hens.she was using nests for over a year.I don’t have a fake egg, might get one. Boxes are the right size. She just lays in droppings!

I have 3 nests which are the right size.She was using them for over a year. For the last 2 months she lays eggs in droppings . I will get a fake egg. Thanks
