egg problems...

9 of 16 chickens, (of laying age) have been giving me eggs consistently. all of the eggs had been fine until i got two eggs everyday that had been laid off of the roosts. They didn't have shells and if they didn't break they would bounce like a bouncy ball.We thought they weren't eating they're oyster crumbles. We finally switched them over to layer feed because all of the girls are old enough now. The weird eggs stopped. Yesterday we got another one come back again. today there were none again. Does this mean i have a new layer? Or that they don't have enough calcium?

How old are the birds(in weeks)?
It can take up to a month or so for things to smooth out, meanwhile odd eggs are pretty normal.
Softshells are harder to 'control' and are often laid in places other than the nests.

One of them is a rooster but then 11 of them are 28 weeks and the other 4 are 20 weeks.
