Egg production and size

Hello, I am new to everything involving chickens I currently have 6. 2 of which are golden laced wyanandotte, I think three are ameracauna and one buff rock. Bieber rock has been laying for about three weeks now and her eggs are about medium sized she lays every day. One of the golden laced started laying but she doesn’t lay every day and her eggs are on the small side. The rest of the chickens aren’t laying yet I’m assuming it’s just because they’re not ready. Does anyone know if it’s normal for golden laced birds to not lay every day and delay small sized eggs?

How old are you birds? Young chickens lay smaller eggs and less consistently. Just give them time to fully mature and they'll get into the loop. Would love to see pictures of your flock!

They just got started. It takes a few months before the eggs get full size. As the hen gets older they do tend to get larger.

Welcome to BYC!! New layers will lay small eggs at first, and few between. Not all chickens lay every day! The eggs should get bigger though.
