Egg production question

    After my chicks were killed by the dogs, we decided to adopt 30 chickens from a poultry farm. They laid 22 eggs the first day and now they are down to 10-15 a day. We have had them for 5 days. Did the move freak them out? They are 14 month old white leghorns.

    yes...typical of a move. They'll settle down and start giving you more soon. Just keep them well fed and well watered and happy.
