Egg Production Went Way Down

I have six hens, a year and a half old. They started laying last September. The egg production became fairly good for a while. But over the summer, it got too hot and it rained a lot. Egg production went down. Other people who owned chickens in our area (Central Florida) were saying the same thing. One person had 50 chickens and only got like 2 eggs a day! Mine wasn't so bad though. I still got some eggs every day.
Well, today is a different story. I have 2 blue egg layers and they are fine (except one of them rarely lays in the nest box). But the other 4 aren't producing many eggs right now. The egg production started picking up a couple of weeks ago, but not by very much. Now I only get a couple of brown eggs a week. The girls are not molting yet, so I don't know what is wrong. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Their probably starting their molt. They will almost stop during the molt then production will be slower in the colder months. Molt is when they shed old feathers and grow new ones

If they are a year and a half they are starting their molt. This is when it happens. They have a mini molt their first winter when they are between 6-9 months. Then before their first winter they have a full molt. Its unavoidable all birds do it. They may not be losing feathers just yet but they are preparing for it. And cooling weather almost always slows production even in young pullets
