My four RIR's are approaching 24 weeks. Three of them have been laying for 2 or 3 weeks, the last week averaging three eggs a day. The last three days I have only gotten one egg. Is this an adjustment period, is it the heat we have been having here in Calif.? Should I be concerned? One of the hens, from the same hatch batch is a little smaller and apparently less mature than the other three. Hard to tell who is laying and who is another. Thanks for any advice.
