I was just thinking about my hatch and momma not liking the black chicks, and realized that the egg that got pushed out of nest on day 20 was a black chick that i put in incubator when I found it pushed out, that chick hatched but its intestine looked like they were on the outside, and I remember seeing post that maybe you can push it back in, needless to say I couldn't do anything like that and the chick died. do you suppose the momma knew that egg wasn't developing correctly and tossed it aside to keep her other eggs warm, I didn't think it was going to hatch at all and was surprised when I saw the pip and zip and it tumbled out all yucky, but the chicks she is rejecting are all the same as that chick, can it be related?
