i got a buff orpington rooster and hen from a guy. she is about a year and a half old. i was wondering how long it would take her to start laying again, since she is now in my coop????

Under most circumstances she may take up to six weeks to get comfortable to start laying again. If she is also molting it can take a few months. She could always feel right at home and start tomorrow.

i just got a new hen today and i put her in and it took her a few hours to lay so its up to her how she feels
