Pretty sure only one of my chickens is laying so far. I've gotten these 3 over the past 4 days from an Isa brown (I have 3 isas tho so they could be bamboozling me). Just wondering what the white speckle on some of them means? Do they all look different even tho they come from the same hen? They're washed with water but nothing else because I haven't really researched egg washing yet lol.

Anyway. White speckles on 2/3. Whats the deal?

I'd guess that you maybe have 2 birds laying,
here's how to tell....

Hard to tell from pics but think it might be uneven pigment.

'Speckled' eggs can happen for several different reasons...very few, if any, of which are a 'problem'.
Can be caused by:
Excess or uneven pigment coating.
Excess or uneven cuticle(bloom).
Excess calcium deposits.
Porous eggs can appear speckled.
Some birds lay them consistently, some only once in awhile.
The pigment or bloom can change appearance when wet, then change back when dry again.
As long as bird is getting a good diet and is healthy in every other way, it is no cause for concern.
