So this might be a silly question...I have a hen that was being broody and it just happened to be when I was sick so my husband went out to get the eggs and thought she was laying the first night so he didn't bother checking under her the next night she was still there and he told me about it so I told him to move her away and get the eggs... Anyway they were on my counter a couple more days after that ...are they ok to eat or would they be developed just enough that they would spoil or something ?

If she was on them for only one night, they're okay to eat.
I'm not an expert, so I may be wrong, but I've eaten eggs like that before.

I figured they should be ok I would eat them but wanted to really make sure since without thinking I gave my neighbour the carton of eggs which might of had some of the eggs she sat on 🤦I was doing too many things at once ugh
