egg question

i wasn't sure where to post this so i decided on here.

i sell eggs and right now i just eye my eggs and decide if they are med, large or ex-large.

i've finally decided to buy a scale cuz i'm trying of guessing and so i'm looking through the net and find jiffy scales.

BUT

their new and improved scale has the ex large eggs at 3 -4oz while the other jiffy scales has the ex large eggs at 2 - 2.5 oz.

does anyone know what is the correct ounceage (is that a word?) on eggs for small, med, large and ex large??

Tough topics decision... I'll move this to egg laying and behior as that might get more views. I belive egg sizes go by the net weight of a full dozen eggs.
