Questions about eggs what is the white coating ? Before I wash? Never seen it before. Have a before during and after wash of the darker brown egg. Also are the brown spots to much calcium ?
Also wondering what would cause a odd shaped egg. Light egg picture

Everything about your eggs is normal, some eggs has red dots. Very good looking eggs! Now if you were going to hatch them, then you need not to wash them,

The last thing that goes onto a shell as the hen is pushing out an egg is the bloom. Sometimes the bloom is chalky, and sometimes it's very shiny. The purpose of the bloom is to protect the egg from bacteria penetrating the porous shell. This protects a developing chick embryo and also helps keep eggs fresh longer. Therefore, many of us try not to wash the eggs unless they have poop on them.

Freckles on an egg are simply additional color pigment which utilizes spent red blood cells. The egg remains smooth. However, sometimes there's a bit too much calcium deposited when an egg goes through the shell gland, and the egg comes out with rough, calcium "pimples". Both freckles and pimples are harmless.
