hi my broody hen has hatched out 2 chicks and there is one egg left which was chirping this morning (not yet pipped) and then the broody hen moved off the nest. when i realized the egg was cold but i slipped it back under her anyway. is there any chance it can still hatch? please help

There may be a chance- I'd give it time. Usually I tell folks to wait 3 days past the 21st day to give up unless the egg sweats or smells bad (or candles clear).

I would put food and water within reach of the mama hen so that she doesn't have to stand up to eat and drink. She will teach her babies how to eat and drink while still sitting on the other egg, if she desires.

If she gets up and won't set, you could put it in an incubator if you have one.

Yeah im the same way. I just give it three days unless it goes bad. Usually if they give up on the egg they know its bad. Idk they just know.
