Way back when we had our dear Doberman, I went to hide Easter Eggs in the yard for the little kids. Molly-dog went with me, following along, intently watching what I was doing, following at my heels. DH came out to watch and starting laughing his butt off. I looked down.
Every time I'd hidden an egg, Molly would gently set down the egg she'd been carrying, stick her nose into where I'd hidden the egg, pick it up and follow me to the next hiding spot. I looked across the yard and saw eggs all out in the open everywhere. Silly dog! Not a nick, scratch or crack on any egg. Not even drooled on. These were real dyed boiled eggs.
