Egg rocking and rolling Due Feb 10th

OK so my emu egg is rocking and rolling and is due on Feb 10. It started Rocking Saturday. No pip yet. Temp is 97 F and humidity went from 30 to 42% so I know he is working...humidity rises when there is a hatch...I am sooo very psyched! Picked up the emu feed I ordered a month ago (hoping I didn't jinx it) and have everything set. Is it normal for the emu to rock and roll until hatch...it won't tire out? Any tips?

Noticed your from my childhood stomping ground. Haven't been down there in a decade or two but still have family in cape coral.
Will be interesting thinking about eums among the palm scrub.

No pip yet, baby is chirping inside. If I put my ear close I hear him working and tearing inside. Come on baby break the shell!

That is so COOL! You have to understand, some of us have never hatched an Emu before. Ha Ha I am excited to see your Baby too!

I am so excited, nervous for you...I'm not even there, and I am just sitting here on Pin's and needles waiting for updates to come from you!! ha ha ha...maybe you should QUICKLY setup a cheap webcam, so we can all watch the hatch as it proceeds. That would be so cool.

This may sound a bit humorous (or crazy), but I have been talking to the egg through the glass every hour or so saying "come on baby you can do it"

Everytime I talk, the egg rocks more and more and the baby chirps and whistles like he is saying "I am trying!!!! Give me a break! Gosh!"

It probably will think it's name is Baby LOL

Geepers Quail Lady I'm excited for you! It will probably wait until Thursday. Others on here have reported that their eggs rocked for a day or two before they hatched.
