First time hatching here...... I had 5 others hatch out just fine yesterday/last night and now this one came out sometime during the night. I'm assuming it's the egg sack? Will this absorb on own? I took the others out and put them in the brooder to give this one some room

It looks like the birth was a rather bloody one making a mess out of the corner of the incubator

How is your chick?
Yes, that looks like an unabsorbed yolk sac, hopefully it will have absorbed by now. If it hasn't and the chick is still fighting to live - line a coffee cup with a clean paper towel, put the chick in that and place her back in the incubator, you want to try to keep that yolk sac clean and dragging across the incubator flood is not "clean".

I layed damp paper towels over the paper towels I had in there when it hatched. I had to leave for awhile but before I did it looked like it might have been getting stronger, was standing on its feet for a few seconds. This morning it just kept flipping around everwhere

Looks like it has dried up some but still hanging on. Chick is definitely getting stronger. Can wall around alot better now. Shes still hasnt fuzzed up at all
