I buy eggs off of CL to hatch and I also sell my own eggs (chicken and duck) on CL. Hope nobody thinks I am buying their eggs to resell.

Since we're dealing with livestock/farm products, he's not technically a scumbag....he's just a pinhooker.

Seriously...that's what pinhookers do. If a person can judge a particular type of animal really well and people frequently come to them looking to buy that type of animal, a pretty decent sideline can be made as a pinhooker by simply identifying and buying the better animals for average prices and reselling them for what they're actually worth..

In the world of thoroughbred horse racing, there are professional pinhookers, and even businesses and partnerships built around pinhooking horses...that's all they do.

Why do you think he is buying eggs and reselling? I buy eggs all the time. But I also sell eggs all the time.

He could be hatching the ones he bought and selling some of his own.

Either way, it's a free market and people have a right to try and resell things at a higher price. But I do agree, if thats the case, that doesn't seem fair to you.

If it troubles you, then just raise your price.

Sorry that there are some inconsiderate people out there.
