I keep a jar next to the sink.
I don't wash the eggs that I collect - just put them in cartons on the counter. Just before I use them, I rinse them off - and then rinse out the inside of the shell (only because they will sometimes sit for many days before going back outside to the girls). I have a little dish rag that sits next to the 'shell jar' that I sit the shells on to dry. When I have a moment, I just crush them into the jar - and then when the jar is full I take it down and add it to the oyster shell feeder.
Easy-peasy.
