Ok, here's my deal. My chick is a week away from hatching, when I placed more water in the incubator I accidentally hit one of the eggs and broke off the top part of the shell, no bleeding and the membrane is still intact, but very exposed. I saw the chick moving. What should I do? Keep a wet towel near her or cover it with a bag?? HELP lol

I would dab coconut oil on the membrane, not too thick just enough to keep it moist and not let the membrane dry out. May have to do it several times between now and hatching.
Best of luck and keep us posted on the outcome/progress.
