Egg shipping question

I've been looking at the egg chains and egg swaps and stuff and was wondering if you had to have the NPIP to be able to swap or sell eggs?

No, anyone can sell/ship eggs.

It seems like for some states you do need a NPIP certificate to ship to them. The main thing with NPIP is that if you are NPIP certified, then you can't get eggs from someone who is not NPIP certified.
