Are egg is the one on the right. The white egg is the store bought egg it's a large size egg. Our girls are still laying these small ones since they are new to laying. They haven't even been at it for a month yet.

Anyway here's my question. I want to make some box brownies. They call for 2 large eggs. Should I use 3 of these at that size?

Thank you. Perhaps my chicken eggs are too much for my pound cakes!! My cakes come out too dense now verses store bought eggs. I don't like the texture or the density of my chickens eggs in a pound cake, and some pies. Could this be why? Thanks! :/

Age your eggs a week or two and you will get much better baking results. It will allow more air to incorporated into the egg during mixing-makes all the difference! I know it is a long time since you posted, but maybe this will help someone.
