Egg size changing with better weather

Now that the weather has finally gotten better, my hens have been out of the coop free ranging more then in the early spring. They are digging and scratching and eating all around my barn and pasture. They are also starting to get some scraps from the garden of kale and collards. I remember reading that people could see a change in the egg yolk when chicken are eating a certain diet. But, has anyone seen a change in the size of their eggs when they change the diet to more of a free range and garden scraps? It might be my imagination, but the last couple weeks, I seem to be getting some huge eggs. During the winter and this early rainy cold spring, my hens have mainly been in the coop with not much time outside. So, I am wondering if the change in free range and diet of garden scraps is making the eggs bigger.

Size of eggs tends to slowly increase over the season, especially if it's their first season of laying. The second season they will lay less but larger eggs.

I got my hens in fall in early October. This is their first spring/warm weather laying season. I have 4 hens and for the most part get 4 eggs a day. Some days 3, but most of the time 4. That is interesting that the eggs will get a little bigger. At least I am not going crazy.
