Egg Size

Our precious Red Sexlink Cordelia started laying on Saturday. We couldn't be more proud of her.

I have a question about the egg size though. Aren't their eggs supposed to be large? Hers are on the small size. Is it because she just started laying? I'm not complaing at all. They are still hard healthy eggs and I am grateful. We are just curious.

Normally the first few eggs are small and imperfect, my barred rock just lay egg this morning and they were half the size of regular eggs.
