Egg size

Hello, I purchased some Rode island red chicks in January of this year. They just started laying and look to be full grown. however the eggs are very small. Can anyone tell me eggs will get larger.

They get larger over time. A few weeks typically. 3-4 weeks.

Yes they will. Most eggs from new layers are small and will get bigger.
Some chickens eggs get bigger slowly and some quickly.

My Golden Comets eggs were small to start but quickly gained in size with a lot of double yolks.
My Barred Rocks eggs slowly got bigger and I only got a couple of double yolks from them.
I got Rhode Island Reds in May so I can't comment on eggs from them yet. GC
