Egg size

Does anyone know how many oz indicates a large egg, and an XL egg and a med. egg? I try not to give my customers the small eggs and have my family eat them. But some of the med size eggs feel really heavy and maybe that would consider them large eggs.

I would either weigh or measure all of them, then you'll know. I'm sorry I don't know the breakdown... I've seen it on here somewhere before.. did you do a search?

Egg sizing - in ounces

Jumbo - 2.50 and up

Extra Large - 2.25 - 2.49

Large - 2.00 - 2.24

Medium - 1.75 - 1.99

Small - 1.50 - 1.74

Pee Wee - 1.25 - 1.49

Pullet - 1.24 and under
