Egg Size

I just recieved my first eggs Thursday they were very small which I knew was coming because they are the girls first eggs.... When will they begin to reach the "Large" size? There are 9 RIR, 8 Barred Rocks, and 8 Cali Whites. It's just the brown layers not the whites but I'm not sure if its the Barred or RIR's laying.

Give them a few weeks for their bodies to get regulated. Mine were at large and extra large after about 2 weeks.

Depends on your weather, if an egg freezes, it will crack but not be ruined. Not good for them to sit in the heat for days at a time before they are collected. So if you collect every day the eggs will be fine. Eggs will stay at room temperature in your house for several weeks and not ruin.
