Could be for us human to know they did it, they paid their rent, they poop breakfast

Sandy lays in the evening. Thank heavens she doesn't lay in the morning. That high-pitch strangulation sound before my coffee could possible tip me over the edge if she was a morning layer

I would love to hear that annoying screeching sound as I've never heard it from my quails

In an interesting turn of events, I put Sandy and Phillippa into the greenhouse with the boys (in a separate enclosure) and the screeching from Sandy has stopped!! @Shadrach has an interesting theory that the egg song is indeed a cry for a cock. So that could explain why Sandy has stopped screeching. I'm sorry I didn't get a recording of her in banshee mode for you.
