I had two dozen eggs to take to work with me this morning to sell. I had the carton of eggs I keep for myself on top of the two I was taking. I got into the fridge, removed the top carton, placed it on the counter so I could get the two cartons underneath it... and left my eggs on the counter. I discovered them when I got home a little bit ago. They have been sitting out for 10 hours. The air conditioning doesn't kick on until it hits 76 when I'm not home. Are the eggs still good? They are about 2 weeks old.

I hate getting old and doing these stupid things! Like walking into a room and forgetting why I went in there. Or maybe I just burned too many brain cells in college. Either way I'm over it!

It all depends on whether they are washed or not. Washed eggs should remain refrigerated. Just cook well just in case.

I never put my eggs in the fridge. When I want them to peel easy......This illustration shows 2-3 weeks as stale. many of mine are that way at 4 weeks. I look at how much they are raised from the bottom and count up on weeks.
