Egg storage

One of our 3 hens has finally started laying her eggs and I was wondering the best way to store them. I don't know whether to put them in the fridge or keep them out. It takes a while when you only get one at a time. Can someone please help me?

Either would be fine. I don’t know how long they can be left out since I sell mine and have to refrigerate. Maybe @Texas Kiki would know

I prefer to keep my in the fridge.
Depends on the temp in your house.

I leave mine on the counter. With only 5 girls, I don't have eggs laying around for long.

If you DONT wash them they will last about 6 months in the fridge.

I collect eggs several times during the day and wash in the evening and air dry overnight in a hanging egg basket over sink.
I candle, weigh, carton and refrigerate.
I date carton when full, so I use, sell the oldest first. GC

Really.... 6 mo in the fridge, unwashed?!? I was considering waterglassing, since I didnt know I could get that long in the fridge.
